1. Accepting wrongly that you cannot take action. I am sure you have heard people that are over weight say "oh wel,l it is too late for me to do anything now" or "I cannot be bothered". You need to click out out of this mentality it is never to late to lose weight, if you don't the circumstances are grim, do it for yourself, your family and your friends. You need to act today.
2. Not eating the right foods - For the majority of people it is my guess is that you probably don't have THAT bad of a diet or food intake menu... however there is always room for improvements. It is very simple to pinpoint certain foods that you consume in your diet that are compromising your goal of losing body fat and these fine tweaks are vital. .
3. One of your biggest enemies is stress - I know more than anyone the dramatic side effects that stress can cause. Stress is a two prong attack, in that you have to live day by day dealing with the actual source of stress and secondly the body has to cope emotional and physical consequences. When we are stressed our bodies produce a chemical called cortisol which overrides our fat burning hormones and in fact over a length of time can result in fat storage. You need to take control of your stress levels, practice deep breathing and if possible rid yourself of the source of stress.
4. Poor time management - Again I am sure you have heard the tell tale signs "I am late for work", "I haven't got time for this or that", we have all been there. You need to take a step back and try to plan a schedule. Include in the schedule a plan of meal times, daily activities, sleep hours you will feel more relaxed and be on the road to a healthier lifestyle.
5. Dreaded Exercise... - You don't need to be a regular gym attendee, what we are talking about here is simple exercise, walking is ideal. There is nothing surer if you do not exercise and burn off the calories you will be covered from head to toe in fat in no time. Seriously though, most people don't know it but if YOU went for a 40-50 minute walk 4-5 times a week, you could lose your first 5-10 lbs in under one month!!. It is very important to condition your body for your weight loss diet plan.
7. Too much alcohol or beverages? - Now this is a simple one. If you can replace 40 to 50% of your beverage intake with simple tap water you can fire your fat burning hormones into overdrive and you will be on your way to losing 5 lbs a month by this alone. Our body needs water, and DOES NOT need any other additives that are found in over 90% of the crap that brands get us to buy.
8. Have you taken your vitamins today? - If you are not taking vitamins you are making a mistake. They are the mainstay of keeping the body healthy and full of energy, multi vitamins are ideal. .
9. Takeaway food - Cut down or eliminate junk or fast foods. You only need to take a quick look at the labels to see that they are full of fake replacements of limited nutritional value.
